THEY NEVER FROZE WALT DISNEY. by JODY O’NEILL.

Unitarian Church. Princess St. 1pm. (Running Time 45 mins. approx)

June 25th - 30th.

A chilling tale of love death and despair in rural Ireland over a forty year period.

Staring Jody O’Neill and John McCarthy.

Directed by Jack Healy.

Paudie and Marie meet again after many years at the funeral of a mutual friend (who incidentally died after Marie ‘accidentally’ reversed over him) Through the rekindling of their acquaintance, we come to learn of the quiet ambiance of despair in which Marie lives - the strange sense of ambiguity she entertains around intimacy of any kind and the tragic moment which led her to live a life at a heartbreaking remove from the bright hopes to which she once aspired.
